INGREDIENTS
- Cumbers - 4 pounds
- Dill Sprigs - 20 each
- Distilled Vinegar - 2 cups
- Salt - 1/4 cup
- Sugar - 4 tsp
- Caraway Seeds 4 tsp
- Water - 4 cups
INSTRUCTIONS
- Slice cumbers to 1/8 inch thick. Add to large container with dill sprigs.
- Heat remaining ingredients until sugar dissolves.
- Cool completely and pour over cucumbers.
This recipe is the perfect way to preserve the summer harvest and add flavor to many dishes. Of course they are perfect with a burger, but you can use them in deviled eggs or potato salad.
