About the Artist
As a soulful, affecting vocalist with incredible range and versatility, Havilah Bruders has become one of Kansas City’s most in-demand performers. She has an ability to perform jazz, blues, rock-n-roll, soul, gospel, classic country, folk, classical, world and choral music like each is her sole focus. This places her on many stages around town — in venues, hotels, churches, festivals, private parties & ceremonies. While Havilah can sing just about any genre, she particularly loves singing jazz because of the freedom of expression in improvisation. Havilah has been singing for her entire life. With the vital foundations of a large musical family that sang together for fun and in church ministry, music naturally became Havilah’s focus. She began pursuing her career by studying music and voice, and graduated from William Jewell College. Aside from performing, Havilah is a private vocal coach & a mother of two.
About the “In the Garden” Series
Colonial Gardens is excited to continue In the Garden in 2021. Due to our growing attendance, this year all tables must be reserved. Guests can pre-purchase a table for $10 online before the event. Or tables will be sold the evening of In the Garden on a first come first serve basis. We are offering three new In the Garden basket options that will include a four-top table. We will have pre-made baskets at the event to purchase (table is not guaranteed). Additional beer, wine, and food options are available for purchase at the event.
