What is Colonial Farm Share?
Colonial Farm Share is our take on a farmer-grown food subscription service. It's an easy way to receive fresh, nutrient-dense produce featuring the best of what’s in season! We have a full greenhouse of produce growing currently that will provide fresh, local produce during our winter months. For just $15 per week, we are excited to offer a 1/2 share this winter for our community.
Starting in January, your Colonial 1/2 Farm Share subscription includes 8 weeks of seasonal produce, fresh from our farmers and partner farms. You'll receive a wide variety of garden favorites and some that you may not have ever tried before. A few items to look forward to include: squash, sweet potatoes, lettuce, tomatoes, brussels sprouts, fresh herbs, winter greens, farm fresh eggs and so much more. Feel good about feeding your family healthy, fresh local food!
How Does it Work?
Beginning in January, members pick up their weekly farm share at Colonial Gardens in Blue Springs. Each share will contain 5-7 varieties of produce and fresh eggs. Two days a week will be available for pick-up, and a guest may pick up in case you can’t make it. A staff member will ensure all your questions are answered and can help you with new ideas for using your produce. Our market gardener, Kelsie, will be distributing farm shares on Fridays to answer all your vegetable growing questions!
Winter 1/2 farm share memberships are $120, with the option to pay in full at the beginning, or in two installments (one at the beginning, and the balance due halfway through the farm share).

Are you ready to share in our harvest and receive nutrient-dense, fresh-picked, local produce?
At Colonial Gardens, we focus on the science of soil biology. With years of proven growing experience, our farmers focus on creating and maintaining the best, bio-active environment for growing food. Healthy soil, full of beneficial bacteria, fungi, and microbial life, ultimately means healthier food going to your table. We encourage you to stop in, meet our farmers, and take a tour of our growing areas (both fields and greenhouses). We would love to share our passion for healthy food, with you.
